Sunday Night Youth

We are so excited to offer this unique student gathering starting Sunday September 13th. Our service will be from 5:30-6:45, and we will be meeting inside the church. Keep in mind that just because you RSVP for Sunday Night Youth Group that you are required to come every time. We would love for you to be here but RSVP-ing just allows us to save a seat for you. To limit the amount of people that are interacting in groups we have made the decision to split our group into three ministries:

  1. 6th-7th Grade

  2. 8th-9th-10th Grade

  3. 11th-12th Grade

Our 6th-7th group and our 8th-10th grade group will be meeting at the church. The 11th-12th grade group will be making special arrangements to meet their scheduling needs that will be determined with their leaders. However, 11th-12th graders are encouraged to sign up if they would like to serve in our 6th-7th grade group. In order to keep everyone safe, please be aware of the following guidelines:

-Sick or been exposed to someone that has been sick? Please stay home, we aren’t going anywhere!

-We will ask all students and leaders to wear and keep their masks on for the entire program. If your student doesn’t have or forgets their mask, one will be provided to them.

-We will be taking temperatures at the front door before students enter the building.

-We ask that you RSVP your student at THIS LINK so that we can prepare for their arrival. Once they show up they will have an assigned seat that will be 6 feet apart from all other seats in the room that their group is meeting in.

-Any “mingling moments” before and after service will happen outside of church and at a safe distance apart.

-As we begin this new season of ministry during covid we are not going to provide food before/after service and we are only allowing students and leaders in the building. These protocols could changed in the future.

-We will open one set of bathrooms during each service. Please observe the stated rules that you will find in the bathrooms.

-There will be hand sanitizer stations set up in front of the building and the youth room to be used as you enter and leave.

Our schedule does not leave much “down time” to encourage distant hang outs and we will do our very best make sure that students are following the guidelines laid out in the list above. If you have any questions about the above list or any concerns you may have please do not hesitate to email me (kevin@sugargrove.org) and I will gladly talk to you about it.
