Kevin is a California native that has been doing ministry in some capacity for the past 10 years. His credentials include a BA in Christian Ministries from Biola University, Chic-Fil-A signature rewards member, and an unverified belief that he is still cool and relevant. Kevin is married to his high school sweetheart Meghan and they have 2 awesome kids: Landon and Raelyn. Kevin enjoys staying up too late to watch his west coast teams (the Angels and Ducks), and watching tv/movies with his family.

Kaya grew up in Birmingham, AL, although she’ll tell you that she’s from Atlanta, GA because that’s where she was born. She recently moved here from Nashville, TN where she spent 3.5 years at Lipscomb University to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology + Ministry and 2.5 years serving a local congregation in Franklin, TN. Kaya has minor obsession with coffee and enjoys spending her free time with her family and listening to music/podcasts.

Justin Thompson

Justin was born in Port Lavaca Texas and raised in Hallettsville Texas. He started singing in the church choir at a young age which led to his love of music. Since then he has been singing and leading worship ever since. Justin’s love for Jesus, family, and Astros baseball makes him who he is today.
Cindy Fancher
Finance Manager
Cynthia manages all financial matters for the church. She works with the finance committee. She enjoys reading and sitting on the beach. She and her husband, Richard, have two grown children and seven grandchildren.
Becky Kosarek

Becky has an education degree and has worked as a Classroom Teacher and IT Manager for Christian schools while raising three children. Since 2016, she has managed Sugar Grove Church’s Technology infrastructure and supported the Sugar Grove Staff. She also co-manages the Café in the Grove. Becky and Jay are blessed with nine grandkids. Becky enjoys learning, reading, and spending time with family.
Matt Mcvey
Facilities Manager
Matt is a charter member of Sugar Grove. He joined the staff in 2007. He is married to Kim who works for Fort Bend ISD. They have five children.
Jay Kosarek
Elder
Jay has served as an elder at Sugar Grove since January 2012. He and his wife, Becky, have three children. Jay is a retired mechanical engineer.
Randy Regas
Elder
Randy has served as an elder at Sugar Grove since November 2003. He and his wife, Luanne, have three children. He and Luanne own and operate Regas Construction.
