Henri Nouwen’s friend, a secular journalist and writer by the name of Fred Bratman, asked him to write a book explaining the spiritual life in terms that he and his friends could understand, avoiding technical language. What came from this request is this book and Nouwen’s answer, “All I want to say to you is, ‘You are the Beloved.” Come join in as we dive into this simple book on spiritual living in a secular world.
